I drove to Tammisaari on wednesday morning. They promised all sun and almost no wind (im used to that :D). So quite challenging weather condition for pikes. We started around 9.30 in the morning with jig gear targeting zander and perch. Super quiet.. around 13 we switched to spinner baits and went for pikes. At firs there were some small pikes following and attacking.. nothing much. We decided to go a bit further to some "untouched" territory. After a while it really started to happen. In quite small window I managed to land 7 pikes (+2 drops). Da Bush in red silver flash was the only lure working like hell! so we used it for the rest of the day only :).
History almost repeated itself with the big pike. It tried to hot my spinner but missed. Luckily i did a re-cast fast and few seconds later the fish was on!! After measurements we released it bak to the sea to grow. Super fun day although it took nearly 6 hours for me to open the game.. Thanks again for Timo Narinen for a good trip!
