Traditional yearly trip to the archipelago for pike fishing. This year the weather conditions were quite good, except the sea level was 35-40 cm below normal level. That set some challenges. We managed to find pikes at a steady pace all 3 days. No big ones this time, average of 2-3 kg pikes. Total of 38 pikes visited the boat briefly, so all in all a good trip and also fun fishing. Weather was biting cold and luckily i had just bought my Westin floating suit. That kept me quite warm.
Spoon (my fathers choice) and jerk (my choice, in shitty roach color) were the only lures truly working. 2 spinner bait pikes also but 0 with shads..
Going on at least one more trip this year, so fingers crossed for the big one! :)
